Employment Creation
Uakii Wilderness Safaris
In 2004, Peter-Hain started Uakii WIlderness Safaris, as a means to help local communities retain their traditional heritage, teach tourists about local culture and to generate employment within the local communities.
Gobabis Information Centre
Complimenting this venture is Gobabis Information Centre, which was started 4 years after the safari business. This promotes all tourism within the Omaheke region but focuses on cultural and community-based tourism.
